1. Who we are

yootils is a free online calculator and conversion tool website. We are not a data business — we simply provide useful tools.

2. What data we collect

We collect minimal data. Specifically:

• No account data. You are never asked to sign up or log in.
• No form data is sent to our servers. All calculations happen entirely in your browser. Numbers you enter into calculators are never transmitted to us.
• No cookies. We do not set any browser cookies. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
• Browser local storage. We use your browser's local storage (not cookies) to save small pieces of data on your device. This data never leaves your device. Specifically, we store:
  • yootil_cookie_consent — your Accept or Decline response to our consent banner, so we do not show it on every visit.
  • yootil_events — anonymous counts of tool interactions (e.g. how many times a calculator was used) used for aggregate usage analytics. No personal information is included. This data stays on your device unless you have accepted analytics and an analytics endpoint is configured.

  If you choose No thanks on the banner, the usage counts are not written and any already stored are deleted. Only your answer itself is kept, so we do not ask again on every page.

• Aggregate analytics. We may collect anonymised, aggregate data about which tools are used most often to help us improve the site. This data does not identify you personally and is not linked to any persistent identifier.

3. How we use your data

Any aggregate analytics data is used solely to improve the website — for example, to prioritise which new tools to build. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-party services

All fonts, word lists, and other assets are self-hosted. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We make no external requests on your behalf.

5. Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have concerns, contact us at the address below.

6. Children

yootils is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
